Purple Haze is one of our first and most successful strains. Its medium-sized flowers are violet in color and have an enchanting fragrance. Its taste is typical for Haze, reminiscent of the strength and freshness of hashish.

Thanks to the Boveda terpene protection in the bag, the cannabis flower does not lose its terpenes and everything that goes with it: the aromas, the taste, and the effectiveness.

Growth phases:

3 weeks of growth
9 weeks of flowering, the last 3 weeks of which are watered with pure water to release all the aromas of the plant.

The Origins of the Purple Haze Cannabis Strain:

Purple Haze, originated in the United States in the 1970s, is the name of a variant of Cannabis sativa (about 70%), sometimes with traces of Indica. It is a violet-colored plant that is highly sought after for its strong psychophysical effects on the consumer and acts as an analgesic. It can enhance both creative abilities and feelings of euphoria and satisfaction in the consumer.

The name Purple Haze is associated with the music of the famous singer Jimi Hendrix, released in 1967, when this marijuana strain was first discovered; there are two explanations for the origin of the name Purple Haze.

Some sources claim that Jimi Hendrix’s song referred to the purple cartoon drug LSD, which was in circulation between the 1960s and 1970s, so the cannabis variant Purple Haze was named in memory of this drug; while other sources claim that the name of the plant, formerly known as Purple Haze, later influenced the name of Hendrix’s song, at whose festivals an acid derived from this plant was sold, specifically called Purple Monterey.

However, the original Purple Haze has been lost, and it is believed that this strain originates from two original families, Purple and Haze: The Purple family has many genetic variants, including Purple 1 and Auto Purple, Sativa and Indica hybrids; while the Haze family is known to be predominantly sativa-dominant and also richer in THC, the most well-known active ingredient in cannabis; some of the Haze variants include Lemon Haze, Shining Silver Haze, Chocolate Haze, and Amnesia Haze.

The best-known Purple Haze roots include Purple Thai, Colombian Gold, Mexican Sativa, Acapulco Gold, as well as other Sativas from India and Thailand, eastern countries where the purple color of these cannabis strains is associated with the meaning of nobility.
